"Now is the Time": The Problem, in a Nutshell

Overheard, chez Fausto, at the breakfast table this morning:

Fausto: You know, there's been some grumbling lately on [Peacebang's] blog about the UUA's "Now is the Time" campaign.

Mrs. Fausto: What's that?

There is that.

CC
who needs to step it up and write some better stuff so HER blog can get discussed at Chez Fausto.

No need to fret. The Chaliceblog gets dicussed chez Fausto every time CC posts something lawyerly. Mrs. Fausto is very solicitous (no pun intended) of Hoya Lawyas, being one herself.

All of us who are religious liberals have the same challenge.

The names are different, but the ethos is the same.

Hello. Just digging around for Sangamon things of note on the web and came across an old blog. I wanted to let you know that we still read the man from jonesville and a number of other parables of safed the sage, and woodcraft is still taught but only on the trail. Flytying, sadly, is a pretty dead art here near us. Hope all is well. Jed Byrom

Thanks for dropping by, Jed! Will be dropping my son off at the end of June for his second summer with you, and stealing a moment to glance at my name on the fishing record plaque in the dining hall as well. I did manage to dip a line in East Creek for old time's sake when I dropped him off last summer, and caught a few brookies on one of my more recent creations.

As far as I remember Larry never gave attribution to Safed the Sage, but now I'll be hunting him down.

This being a religion-themed blog, there's no better way to close this note than "Goddess, goddess, goddess!"
