No doubt Slate’s clip is meant to be humorous, and I can appreciate its irreverence.
In this situation though I believe reverence is more appropriate, and that’s one of the feelings I get from this clip of a turkey hatchery, with its hauntingly beautiful background music.
Places like these are where many so-called free range turkeys, like the one in the Palin interview, get their start.
